Leaked: First images of the Peugeot e-3008 electric

The new Peugeot e-3008 electric will offer a range of up to 700 kilometers in its long-range version, while front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models will offer a range of up to 500 kilometers.

Peugeot will unveil the all-new 3008 crossover in a few days. The third-generation model will be a major departure from the current car, becoming the first Peugeot to use Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform for its electric version.

From a design perspective, the exterior is more or less what we could have expected, given the brand’s new design language, which we’ve seen on the Peugeot 408, for example. The interior of the new Peugeot 3008, which Peugeot has already revealed in full, is stunning, modern, and unique. It features the new evolution of the I-COCKPIT layout, dubbed Panoramic I-COCKPIT, thanks to the 21-inch panoramic display that stretches across the dashboard.

The STLA Medium platform is a 400-volt software-controlled electric-only platform that will serve all of Stellantis‘ mid-size vehicles (vehicles ranging in length from 4.3 to 4.9 meters). This platform will power the Peugeot e-3008 electric and brings with it an all-new electric powertrain for Peugeot that offers a significant improvement over the company’s current powertrain in terms of battery capacity, motors, and range.

According to leaked information, Peugeot will initially offer the 3008 electric in three main versions: a long-range version with a 98kWh battery and a front-wheel drive electric motor with 230 horsepower and 34.5 lb-ft of torque. This model has an exceptional range of over 700 kilometers.

In addition to this model, there are two models with a 73kWh battery, one with front-wheel drive 215 horsepower and 34.5 lb-ft of torque and a range of 525 kilometers, and one with all-wheel drive 320 horsepower and the same range.
