The Ferrari Roma Spider is a new convertible 2+ car that was unveiled on March 16, 2023. It is based on the Roma coupe, but features a soft-top roof that can be opened or closed in 14 seconds at speeds up to 50 km/h. The car has a low and aerodynamic profile, with a retractable rear spoiler that enhances stability at high speeds. The soft-top roof is made of fabric and has a glass rear window that can be lowered independently. The roof can be chosen in different colors to match or contrast with the bodywork.

Interior

The interior of the Ferrari Roma Spider is spacious and luxurious, with leather seats, a digital dashboard, a central touch screen and a separate passenger display. The cockpit is divided into two areas by a central tunnel that houses the gear selector and other controls. The driver can access various driving modes through the Manettino switch on the steering wheel. The car also features advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and blind spot monitoring.

Powertrain

The powertrain of the Ferrari Roma Spider consists of a 3.9-liter V8 biturbo engine that delivers 620 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The engine has won several awards for its performance and efficiency, including the International Engine of the Year for four consecutive years. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of over 320 km/h. The car also has a mild hybrid system that recovers energy during braking and provides an extra boost when needed.
