New Toyota RAV4 GR SPORT

Toyota is releasing a sportier version of the Rav4 for the European market

Let’s talk about the latest addition to Toyota’s lineup in Europe – the RAV4 GR Sport. While some may be hesitant about a sportier version of the RAV4, Toyota has gone above and beyond with this offering.

Think of the RAV4 GR Sport as Toyota’s answer to the M Sport or N Line trim levels offered by other manufacturers. But this isn’t just a case of some cosmetic changes and fancy badges. Toyota has taken a holistic approach to the RAV4 GR Sport, and the results are impressive.

The first thing you’ll notice about the RAV4 GR Sport is its sleek design. But it’s not just about looks – the sport-tuned suspension also provides a more engaging driving experience. This means that the RAV4 GR Sport is not only more stylish but also more fun to drive.

The sportier looks are complemented by further improvements to the suspension for the GR SPORT model. The new stiffer springs and shock absorber settings are expected to give the RAV4 GR SPORT a handling boost and offer a more engaging driving experience. Toyota

Inside, the GR badges are visible throughout the cabin, including on the headrests of the suede-insert sport bucket seats. It’s a subtle touch, but it adds to the overall sporty feel of the car.

Now, you might be thinking that this is all well and good for European customers, but what about those of us in the United States? Unfortunately, the RAV4 GR Sport is not currently available in the US, and it’s unclear if Toyota has any plans to introduce it here. However, the inconsistent use of performance branding across different markets is something that has left many scratching their heads ( TRD becoming Gazoo Racing, or GR and TRD in North America as a purely off-road thing ).

Regardless, if you’re in Europe and looking for a more spirited driving experience in your RAV4, the GR Sport is definitely worth considering. While we don’t yet know the exact pricing, we expect it to be a worthy upgrade for those who want a bit more excitement from their family-friendly SUV.

Overall, Toyota has done an excellent job with the RAV4 GR Sport, bringing some sporty flair to an already popular car. It’s a great example of how manufacturers can offer something a bit different for customers who want a bit more excitement from their daily driver.
