The 2025 Cadillac CT5: A Mid-Size Sedan that Offers More than Meets the Eye

The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is a mid-size luxury sedan that has been refreshed with a new look and new technology. The CT5 aims to compete with rivals such as the BMW 5 Series, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and the Audi A6, offering a blend of comfort, performance, and style.

The most noticeable change in the 2025 CT5 is the front end, which features a wider and more prominent grille, a redesigned fascia, and new LED headlights that combine the signature vertical accents with stacked main and high-beam elements. The new headlights give the CT5 a more aggressive and sophisticated appearance, while also improving visibility and safety. The rear end remains largely unchanged, except for some minor tweaks to the taillights and bumper. The CT5 also offers two new exterior colors: Dark Emerald Frost and Infrared Tintcoat.

The interior of the 2025 CT5 has also been upgraded with a massive 33-inch LED display that spans across the dashboard. This display serves as a digital instrument cluster, an infotainment touchscreen, and a secondary touchscreen to the left of the steering wheel. The display has a stunning 9K resolution and runs on the Android Automotive operating system, which allows you to access Google Maps, Google Assistant, Google Play Store, and Amazon Alexa Built-In. You can also use wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to connect your smartphone to the display. The display is curved and tilted towards the driver for better ergonomics and visibility.

The 2025 CT5 also offers a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot for faster and more reliable internet connectivity. You can use this hotspot to stream music, videos, or games on your devices, or to access online services such as OnStar or SiriusXM. The CT5 also features an AKG premium audio system that delivers crisp and clear sound quality throughout the cabin.

The 2025 CT5 comes in four trim levels: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and CT5-V. The base Luxury trim starts at $38,395 and comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It also features rear-wheel drive, leatherette seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, rear parking sensors, and more.

The Premium Luxury trim adds leather seats, a power-adjustable steering column, ventilated front seats with memory, interior ambient lighting, illuminated exterior door handles, front and rear park assist, blind zone steering assist, and more1. It also gives you the option to upgrade to a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 335 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. This engine is standard on the Sport trim, which also adds sporty styling elements such as a sport grille, fascia, rocker, spoiler, black molding, 18-way performance bolstered front seats, Brembo V Performance front brakes (optional), and more.

The top-of-the-line CT5-V is the most exciting model in the lineup, as it boosts the output of the V6 engine to 360 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. It also comes with an adaptive suspension, a limited-slip differential, a performance traction management system, a sport exhaust system, unique V-Series design cues inside and out, and Super Cruise driver assistance technology (optional). Super Cruise allows you to drive hands-free on more than 200,000 miles of compatible highways in the U.S. and Canada, using a combination of cameras, sensors, GPS, and LiDAR map data.
