The Polestar 2 BST edition 230 is a car that promises to deliver an exciting driving experience. It comes with a total of 469bhp and 680Nm of torque, as with the BST edition 270. The BST Edition 230 has a dual-motor setup that delivers 408 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque, providing the car with impressive acceleration of 4.4 seconds to 100km/h and a top speed of 127 mph. The vehicle also features upgraded suspension and braking systems that improve handling and stopping power.
The BST edition 230 is the only Polestar 2 to feature MicroSuede upholstery in Charcoal. Produced with partly recycled Nubuck textile, it provides a more sustainable, high-tech alternative to leather with a sophisticated, sporty feel. The suede texture helps to limit body movement when tapping into the performance potential.
The exterior color palette includes shades like Nebula Green and Space Black. The matte black painted graphic on the top portion is optional.
All the chassis upgrades that were first implemented on the original Polestar 2 BST edition 270 remain available, including the lowered ride height (-25 mm), specially developed and unique Öhlins 2-way adjustable dampers, front strut bar, 20% stiffer springs and unique black 21-inch alloy wheels that are inspired by those of Polestar 1, fitted with 245/35R21 Pirelli P Zero tyres developed specifically for the two BST edition versions.
The upcoming 2023 Polestar 2 Edition 230 offers remarkable performance and a respectable range as an electric vehicle. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reports that the BST Edition 230 can go up to 260 miles on a single charge, surpassing the standard Polestar 2’s range of 233 miles.
The Polestar 2 BST edition 230 is priced at £73,900 in the UK. It is available to order now with first deliveries expected by September. Pricing in Germany will start at €81,000. For the U.S market the pricing for the new model has not been revealed yet, it is expected to be around or even above the starting price of $75,000 for the previous 2 BST edition 270 model.
