Unleashing the Beast: Introducing the All-Electric Cadillac 2026 LYRIQ-V

The 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ-V marks a significant step in the evolution of electric vehicles, combining the luxury and refinement expected from Cadillac with the high-performance capabilities of the V-Series. It’s not just a sporty drive, but a complete luxury vehicle with a unique character, offering both power and advanced technology. This all-electric SUV is set to redefine the standards for performance in its class.

Performance and Power
At the heart of the LYRIQ-V’s appeal is its impressive powertrain. The vehicle features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that delivers a Cadillac-estimated 615 horsepower (458.6 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque. This power enables it to achieve a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of just 3.3 seconds when using Velocity Max and Launch Control, making it the quickest Cadillac ever produced. Velocity Max is a driver-selectable feature that unleashes the vehicle’s full performance.

The LYRIQ-Vโ€™s performance is not just about straight-line speed. It features a Continuous Damping Control system with advanced adaptive valve-based damper technology, specifically calibrated for this model. This, combined with a lowered multi-link suspension and a quicker steering ratio, ensures a comfortable yet spirited ride with precise handling. Furthermore, a Competitive Mode enhances vehicle agility through a suite of traction management features. The vehicle also boasts Bremboยฎ performance front brakes with dynamic six-piston fixed calipers, and available low metallic linings for assured stopping power, with red calipers with the V-Series logo being an available option.

    Distinctive Sound and Driving Dynamics
The LYRIQ-V offers a unique sound experience, synchronising interior and exterior sounds. These sounds are inspired by the Cadillac LMDh race car and are designed to entertain and enhance the driving experience, with sounds for revving when in park or neutral, quick acceleration, and heavy deceleration. The vehicle also features a V-Mode, which allows drivers to customise performance settings, including the unique sound experience and Competitive Mode. This mode can be accessed via a button on the steering wheel or through the 33-inch LED display.

    Exterior Design and Styling
The exterior of the LYRIQ-V is designed to project both power and sophistication. It is distinguished by a unique lower front fascia, side rockers, body-coloured lower trim, and available carbon fibre accents. The Black Crystal Shield integrates Cadillac’s signature choreographed lighting. The V-Series logo is present on the rear doors and tailgate, further setting it apart, and the vehicle also has a unique chin spoiler, rockers, and V-pattern mesh on the lower front grille. It rides on 22-inch alloy wheels with a dark sport finish, laser-etched with the V-Series logo, and available with either standard summer or all-season tyres. A black painted roof comes standard, and an exclusive colour option, Magnus Metal Frost, is available with limited availability.

      Interior Craftsmanship and Technology
The interior of the LYRIQ-V reinforces its performance-oriented design with cutting-edge technology and luxurious details. The steering wheel is uniquely styled with the V-Series logo, a V-Mode button, a sport rim with sculpted hand grips, and an aluminium Regen On Demand paddle. The seating includes unique seat tags celebrating the V-Series brand, with available Nappa leather seating with embroidery and V-pattern detailing and power-adjustable seat bolsters for the front seats. A signature V-Series illuminated sill plate adds to the premium feel.

The vehicle also features a 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display and a dual-plane Augmented Reality Head-Up Display. The audio experience is elevated by a 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio System with Dolby Atmos. A panoramic fixed glass roof is another feature shared with the LYRIQ. The interior features a paperwood dรฉcor, with available Nappa leather seating.
