The new 2024 Tesla Model 3 has been revealed

Tesla has unveiled the 2024 refreshed Model 3, which features a comprehensive makeover. The exterior has been updated with new headlights, taillights, and a revised front fascia. The interior has been redesigned with a new steering wheel, dashboard, and center console. The Model 3’s range has also been increased by about 12%. Tesla says that about half of the components in the Model 3 are new or updated.

The 2024 Tesla Model 3 has a new front end design with narrower headlights and a revised front fascia that raises the “flat nose”. The side profile is the same as the current model, but the window trim, door handles, and wheels have been redesigned. The rear end has new taillights with a similar lighting signature, but the look is more modern and polished. The rear bumper has also been updated with a more dynamic look. Two new gray and red colors have been added to the color palette. The new design has slightly lengthened the model (4720 mm) and also allowed Tesla to slightly increase the volume of the rear trunk.

The interior of the 2024 Tesla Model 3 has been completely redesigned. The dashboard and doors have a new, clean and minimalist design that is more modern thanks to the use of updated materials and the addition of subtle ambient lighting. Tesla has also installed a new steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls from the Model S. This is a controversial change, as it removes the gear shifter and turn signals, which some users may find less user-friendly. However, the horn has been moved to the center of the steering wheel, as in most other cars.

The center console of the 2024 Tesla Model 3 has been redesigned with a sliding cover for the cup holders and storage compartment. The central screen remains the same size, but it has been upgraded with new features and improved quality. The climate control system has also been updated, and now you can control airflow to the passenger seat separately. Tesla has also added microphones to improve call quality, a new audio system with 17 speakers in the LR model and 9 speakers in the RWD model, a USB port under the center armrest with a power of up to 65W, and support for UWB communication for a more reliable and stable digital key.

Tesla has added an 8-inch touch screen in the rear seat, similar to the Model S. This allows rear passengers to control the audio, fan speed and airflow, seat heating, and streaming media services such as YouTube and Netflix. The seat upholstery has also been updated, and the front seats now have ventilation in addition to heating.

Tesla has made a number of changes to the Model 3 in order to improve noise reduction, ride comfort, and range.

To reduce noise, Tesla has used new materials in the interior, added insulation, and installed double-paned windows. These changes have reduced noise intrusion by up to 20-30%.

To improve ride comfort, Tesla has changed the dampers and springs, and adjusted the suspension angles. These changes have made the ride smoother and more comfortable.

To improve range, Tesla has reduced the coefficient of drag from 0.23 to 0.219. This has improved the efficiency of the drive system, resulting in an increase in range of 22-38 km.

Tesla has not made any changes to the drive system, battery, or performance. The Model 3 still has a 0-100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds or 4.4 seconds, and a top speed of 201 km/h.

Tesla has not yet unveiled the performance version of the Model 3, the Model 3 Performance. This model is likely to have received more changes to the drive system, so we will have to wait and see what has been done.

The updated Tesla Model 3 is more expensive, but it offers more features and a longer range.

The company is estimating that it will take between January and March 2024 to deliver a car if you order one today.

The dual-motor all-wheel drive Performance model is not available yet, but the base rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive Long Range models are still available.

The RWD model starts at $61,900 before taxes and fees, which is a $4,500 increase from the previous model. The Long Range model starts at $71,900, which is a $500 increase.
