Renault has recently unveiled the highly anticipated facelifted version of its popular Arkana SUV, marking a significant update to the vehicle’s design and features. With new enhancements inside and out, the 2023 Renault Arkana facelift combines sleek aesthetics with advanced technology, promising an exciting driving experience. Let’s delve into the details of this refreshed model and discover what it has to offer.

Exterior Design

At first glance, the updated Renault Arkana captivates with its refreshed exterior design. The front grille boasts a new pattern, complemented by different color options based on the trim level. Notably, the inclusion of the distinctive ‘F1 blade,’ previously seen on other Renault models, adds a sporty touch to the Arkana’s profile. The sleek headlights feature a tweaked LED signature, further enhancing the vehicle’s modern appeal.

The rear of the Arkana facelift showcases smoked tail-lights, providing a touch of sophistication, while the darker exhaust tips add a subtle hint of aggression. These refinements contribute to the overall sense of style and visual harmony that Renault has aimed to achieve with the updated Arkana.

Trim Levels and Features

Renault introduces three new trims with the facelifted Arkana: Evolution, Techno, and Esprit Alpine. These trims replace the previous lineup, offering distinct features and customization options to cater to different customer preferences.

The Evolution trim comes equipped with standard satellite navigation and Renault’s user-friendly ‘Easy Link’ infotainment system, which supports wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. This ensures seamless integration with smartphones and provides a convenient and intuitive user experience.

Moving up the range, the Techno trim presents a more refined appearance with its body-colored front ‘F1 blade’ and the option for R.S. Line alloy wheels. Additionally, Techno offers enhanced convenience through features like wireless phone charging and larger displays, further enriching the cabin experience.

For those seeking the pinnacle of luxury and performance, the top-spec Esprit Alpine trim stands out with its satin-grey exterior accents and eye-catching 19-inch wheels. This variant also features a rear lip spoiler, emphasizing the sporty character of the Arkana facelift.

Powertrain Options

In the United Kingdom, the facelifted Renault Arkana will be available exclusively with a 1.6-liter full-hybrid petrol engine generating 14hp. Paired with an automatic gearbox, this powertrain ensures a smooth and efficient driving experience. It’s worth noting that mild-hybrid versions will not be reintroduced to the UK market. Renault’s decision to focus on the full-hybrid variant highlights the brand’s commitment to electrification and reduced emissions.

In the E.U, The Arkana will be available will all three powertrains: Mild Hybrid 140hp EDC, Mild Hybrid 160hp EDC and the E-Tech Hybrid 145.

Availability and Pricing

Enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the arrival of the facelifted Renault Arkana can expect to find it in dealerships starting early September. While pricing details have yet to be announced, it is anticipated that there may be a slight increase compared to the previous model. However, considering the enhancements and updates offered by the facelifted Arkana, the increase is expected to be justified by the overall value and enhanced driving experience the SUV provides.
