Higher range and more power come with the Laurin & Klement trim for the Skoda Enyaq

Skoda has a surprise for the fans of the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe models, as the two zero-emission cars can now be ordered with the range-topping Laurin & Klement trim. Equipped in this way, both models will benefit from increased power under the hood and slightly greater range. Additionally, there are a few aesthetic updates that will set these equipped models apart from the rest.

In terms of exterior appearance, the Skoda Enyaq Laurin & Klement receives a Crystal Face illuminated front grille with no less than 131 LEDs. This top-tier specification also includes a new set of 20-inch alloys and LED Matrix headlights. As a result, these equipped Skodas will stand out quite a lot!

The interior has received some improvements as well, thanks to the Laurin & Klement range-topping specification. This model has ventilated seats with massaging features and leather upholstery. The L & K logos will also be able to be seen inside. Not to mention, the multimedia system gets upgraded software, a new graphical user interface, and a battery preheating system.

Tech upgrades

The new environment also brings improved controls. The entire menu structure has been redesigned to make it clearer and easier to find and use popular features. Now, for example, buttons in the corners of the start-up screen make it easy for the user to access settings, the home screen or apps. At the top of the display there is space for five quick shortcuts to favourite functions or car settings, and up to three selectable apps can be placed in the bottom bar. The new infotainment system gives the user a better overview of the battery level, simplified control of the ventilation and air conditioning and new maps in the navigation system. The aesthetics of the Virtual Cockpit instrument panel and the head-up display also feature the brand’s modern visual identity.

More power for the Enyaq Laurin & Klement versions

The Enyaq L&K 85 and Enyaq L&K 86x, the latter of which is the all-wheel-drive type, are the names given to the vehicles by the Czech manufacturer. The new Enyaq with this top-tier trim will have a power output of 285 hp regardless of the model. With this force, the rear-wheel-drive variant will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 6.7 seconds.

Both models’ ranges have grown, as was already indicated. The range of the Enyaq L&K 85 is expected to be 570 kilometers, while the range of the Enyaq L&K 86x is expected to be 550 kilometers. Furthermore, charging will go more quickly, with a 10% to 80% charge being achievable in just 30 minutes.  Both cars have a top speed of 180 km/h.
