The 2023 Mercedes-AMG C 43 Sedan is now available at US dealerships, starting at $59,900*. It combines innovative drive solutions and high performance with efficiency, setting new benchmarks in its segment. The vehicle offers two curated trim levels for the US market: Premium and Pinnacle. The Premium trim comes with a comprehensive set of standard equipment, while the Pinnacle trim offers additional multimedia, connectivity and comfort features. Customers can also choose from various packages and optional equipment to customise their vehicle.
The AMG C 43 features a hand-built M139l engine at its core, which is the first-ever series-production unit with an electric exhaust-gas turbocharger. This technology provides immediate response across the entire rpm range and is a direct derivative of the technology used by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. The advanced 402 hp powertrain also benefits from two-stage direct injection, a sophisticated cooling system, and a belt-driven starter generator (RSG). The second-generation RSG provides a temporary boost of up to 13 hp during certain driving conditions and supports gliding and recuperation for maximum efficiency, among other functions.
The standard rear-axle steering, AMG Performance 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque distribution, AMG SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9G transmission and AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with Adaptive Damping System all contribute to an exceptional driving experience.
The AMG C 43’s exterior features several AMG-specific details that emphasise the vehicle’s performance character, including the distinctive chrome vertical struts of the AMG-specific radiator grille. The dynamic aesthetic is further enhanced by the AMG Performance Studio Package, AMG Carbon Fiber Package, AMG Night Package or AMG Night Package II, and new optional 20-inch AMG alloy wheels.
The sporty design extends to the interior with a flat-bottom AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather fitted as standard. Optional AMG Performance seats are also available with MB-Tex/microfiber or leather upholstery, providing excellent lateral support during dynamic driving.
