Fisker Ocean Extreme delivers 707km of EV autonomy

The Fisker Ocean Extreme, an all-electric SUV, has set a new record for the longest range of any battery electric SUV sold in Europe today, achieving a combined WLTP range of up to 707 km or 440 UK miles.

Fisker expects European homologation by the end of March this year.

The zero-emissions Fisker Ocean SUV made its debut in 2020 at the CES technology fair in Las Vegas. In  2021, the Americans opened an office in Munich, and the first European showroom will also be inaugurated in Germany.

In 2022, Ocean has made its debut in Europe, being presented at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona. The zero-emissions model will enter production in November and will be available in three equipment levels: Sport, Ultra, and Extreme. The new Fisker Ocean Sport is equipped with a single electric motor mounted on the front axle, capable of 275 horsepower. According to the manufacturer, this version has a range of 440 kilometers (WLTP cycle), and its 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 7.4 seconds. In Germany, prices start at €41,560.

Next up is the Ocean Ultra. Equipped with two electric motors, this version offers 540 horsepower, 610 kilometers of range, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

Prices in Germany start from €57,000 and up.

The top-of-the-line Ocean Extreme version also has two electric motors. These units produce 550 horsepower, and the range on a single charge reaches…well, now you know, 707 kilometers.

The car reaches 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and starts at €69,950 in the same country.

At launch, the Fisker Ocean electric SUV will also be available to order in a special Ocean One version, based on the top-of-the-line Extreme equipment. Only 5,000 units will be produced.

Among other things, the Fisker Ocean comes standard with LED headlights and taillights, 20-inch diameter wheels, over-the-air updates, and a panoramic glass roof. Optionally, the zero-emissions SUV can be equipped with heated seats, ambient lighting, and advanced assistance systems.
